All our pianos have been serviced and regulated, tuned to concert pitch, and are in good working condition. Price includes delivery (within Hamilton area, to ground floor position) and a 5 year warranty. Dampp-Chaser discount available. We offer free removal of condemned pianos with purchase. Trade-ins may be possible.

Bernard Pratt Reid Player Piano 1929

Tiger oak with jacobean barley twist style leg. This American player model was very popular in New Zealand in the ’30s.
This particular piano featured in the Jane Campion film The Power of the Dog.
Charles Begg Player Piano 1924

This piano is an important piece of New Zealand music history. Charles Begg landed in Dunedin from Aberdeen in 1861, just in time for the gold rush, and quickly became an integral part of the NZ music scene. The Begg’s music stores remained with us in at least a dozen centres of the country until the 70s. This model, originally assembled in the Begg’s factory in the 1920s, has been fully restored back to Nathan’s “only-one-foot-required” standard. Comes with 5 piano rolls. More can be purchased separately. Too much fun.
